Cryptocoryne pontederiifolia

Origin: Sumatra, Borneo

This cryptocoryne has a bold leaf shape that gives it a dominant appearance in the aquarium. Once established, this undemanding plant is hardy and can grow quite large in good conditions. Moderate lighting is sufficient, although bright light combined with good fertilization will increase its growth rate and overall size. The plant is similar in appearance to C. moehlmannii.
