This plant produces long (4 in/10 cm) and thin (0.16 in/0.4 cm) leaves on stems that regularly branch off into side shoots. The plant is often slow growing and, under bright lighting, compact, with light iron-reddish upper leaves. For the best effect, plant it in groups, with smaller stems toward the front.
