Other corallimorphs have been observed to release mesenterial filaments from the mouth and distal tentacles too. Hamner and Dunn (1980) found that Rbodactis boivesii extruded mesenterial

Miles (1991) reported that the Caribbean corallimorph Discosorna sanctitbomae would extrude mesenterial filaments from the mouth and through the body wall upon initial contact with other anthozoans. In addition, both species could transfer mesenterial filaments to, and out of, the tips of the distal tentacles. So it is possible that other corallimorphs have similar abilities and the aquarist should take this into consideration when placing corallimorphs near other corals. Wilkens (1990) mentioned the negative effects of proximal colonies of coral-

The word aquarium originates from the ancient Latin language, aqua meaning water and the suffix rium meaning place or building. Aquariums are beautiful and look good anywhere! Home aquariums are becoming more and more popular, it is a hobby that many people are flocking too and fish shops are on the rise. Fish are generally easy to keep although do they need quite a bit of attention. Puppies and kittens were the typical pet but now fish are becoming more and more frequent in house holds.
