Corallimorphs are compatible with many types of fish and invertebrates. Amplexidiscus fenestrafer is an exception since it traps and eats fish. Pseudocorynactis from the Indo-Pacific are also quite capable of snaring small fish with their sticky tentacles. Angelfish and butterflyfish may nip at or eat certain corallimorphs. Bristle worms also will eat corallimorphs, usually at night. Most corallimorphs will sting and injure or kill stony corals. Some are killed by stony corals, however (see chapter three). It is best to avoid placing them close together, leaving plenty of room for tissue expansion.
