Similar Species: Condylactis develop bubble tipped tentacles and so may be confused with Entacmaea quadricolor. Young specimens with beaded tentacles look like H. aurora or B. annulata.

Natural Habitat: Common among Halimeda opuntia algae in shallow seagrass (Tbalassia testudinum) beds in Florida and the Caribbean. Also found along rocky shores imbedded in rock crevices and on reefs in sand or on rock.

Aquarium Care: Easily cared for when given sufficient light. Can be maintained with a few fluorescent tubes or with stronger illumination. Feed twice per month with shrimp, crab or fish meat. The clownfish Amphiprion clarki and A. frenatus will adapt to this anemone.
